The ceremony was really comfortable, plenty of room for me to romp around. Of course, there was plenty of heart and emotion and music. After the ceremony there was a tea and cake reception at a local theatre. We chilled, listened to more incredible live music, ate way too much chocolate and shared stories and lots of laughter. Then we had a bit of a break and then it was off to the big show, the main reception in a beautiful old stone building on the university campus. It was a perfect size, intimate and cozy and the reception brought more music, more emotion and sincerity.
On my venture back home I ran into the new couple in the airport. I was flying from one winter to another, they were flying from ice to hot beaches and surf. No fair.
